Born with stars in his eyes and words in his heart, Michael Conard has always been a storyteller. Growing up in a charming, small town, Michael was rarely content with the solitude of his sibling-less existence. Lonely and bored, he eventually escaped the banality by finding excitement in the stories of the characters residing in his own mind.A devout dreamer, Michael believes that imagination and creativity are the fuel that ignites his desire to tell stories. Having been infatuated with both literature and film early in life, it is no surprise that The Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory fanned the flames of his imagination, giving birth to a relentless blaze that became his passion for writing. As a teenager, Michael found inspiration and guidance in the writings of Dame Agatha Christie and R.L. Stine. His love of mysteries made him determined to solve his own epic Whodunit!As a disillusioned mystery writer, Michael found his way to Full Sail University, where he rekindled his love of writing and earned four Course Director Awards, including one for Mystery & Suspense, which he hopes would make dear old Agatha proud. Michael also found success with Cadillac Love, published by Story Shack Magazine in 2014, before earning his BFA in Creative Writing in 2015.Now Michael is a creative writer who, although still loyal to mystery, enjoys dabbling in multiple genres and mediums, and has the worlds of novels and film firmly in his sights.
