Tech Lead for a global E2E visibility project that leverages Azure to deliver near real-time data to key Supply Chain personas in GSK Consumer Healthcare.Agile project delivery encompassing several source systems (e.g. SAP, 3PL carriers, 4PL providers, Distributors and Key Account customers) that underpin the Supply Chain, with multiple teams spanning four regions.

* Lead development and execution of a templated process to conduct a strategic assessment of IT across Ware GMS, accountable for identifying use of IT, gaps / improvement opportunities, IT risks and quality of service. Delivered risk reduction, simplification and service improvement opportunities* Created proposal for Site Leadership Team to roll out a Microsoft Collaborative Champions initiative for Ware GMS. Once approved, provided education, guidance and solutions for departments throughout placement, and then ensured that work continued through handover to colleagues across the site* Site lead for Internet Explorer 8 upgrade project, ensuring the site migrated to deadlines successfully with no business impact* Prepared site for SharePoint 2010 upgrade through comms. plan, training and consultations. Volunteered as a STEM Ambassador at The Big Bang Fair for two days during April 2013.Responsible for engaging with students to promote the specialism I represent (Technology) and the skills I possess, discuss the stands and projects they had visited, and then to talk about the career opportunities that are available.Most of my time was spent with students from secondary schools and sixth form institutions, where my main challenges were to dispel the stereotypes/myths around working in IT, to encourage questions and generate interest regarding the roles that are available in IT, and to communicate at a level appropriate for 11-18 year olds. My spare time was used to network with the volunteers and organisers. A personal highlight was being nominated to lead the STEM Ambassadors on Friday by the volunteer co-ordinator.Engagement with STEMNET and opportunities outside of Big Bang Fair ongoing in North London.
