Crossrail is the biggest construction project in Europe and is one of the largest single infrastructure investments undertaken in the UK.Contracts:---West Outer Track Infrastructure (WOTI) ContractUnder this Contract I undertook the role of Assistant Commercial Manager for the head contract. For a 6 month period I stepped up into the Commercial Manager position while a new manager was recruited. My team of 5 quantity surveyors are responsible for:~Commercial Management - Advising the client on their contractual position during the contract period and final account negotiation. ~Contract Administration - Creating and processing change requestions and extension of time (EOT) notices.~Contract Practice - Ensuring that the contractor is undertaking all the contractual requirements as defined in the contract.~Project financial control and reporting - Populating the contractors cost plan, monthly report and monthly payment application. Presenting these reports to upper management and answering any questions.~Subcontract Management - Ensuring that subcontractor accounts are properly managed, paid on time and final accounted in accordance with the Balfour Beatty procedures.~Team Management - Ensuring that my team of 5 Quantity Surveyors are completing tasks within the required time frame, are maintaining the contractors position and establishing a friendly rapport with the clients team.
