This process also helped to address generic business needs such as career development and succession planning and introduced development techniques including coaching, mentoring and alternative management development programmes.Trained and supported voluntary sector organisations to use PQASSO, a recognised quality standard for the third sector.Worked with approximately 35 organisations from schools, the public sector, voluntary sector, and companies employing more than 250 employees.NTO Liaison: liaison with National Training Organisations (Sector Skills Councils), to develop and implement sector skills strategies and strategic workforce development plans and policies for North Yorkshire.Voluntary Sector Capacity Building: implementation of a strategy and development plan to assist the professional progress of organisations. Taking organisations through an initial assessment and benchmarking them against recognised quality standards. Development of action plans and implementation of appropriate policy and then resourcing of appropriate development solutions.Marketing: Responsible for marketing all of the LSC’s Workforce Development programmes.
