About Mitchell Regenstreif, B.Eng., Mba

Passionate about the mining & metals sector, along with supporting the global decarbonization effort.Experience spanning a variety of industries including mining, software/technology, maritime shipping and automotive. Within the mining industry specifically, my work to-date has covered multiple stages of a mine's life from funding exploration work for junior mining companies, to scoping and feasibility studies, to operational experience, finally ending with the shipping of the final product and the purchasing of the resulting products.Over the past year, I have been supporting Ford's strategic efforts to source Nickel and Cobalt for its EV batteries - while also driving our recycling ambitions for end-of-life batteries and manufacturing scrap to recoup the Nickel, Cobalt and Lithium to return these products into our value-chain.Prior to this, over the past few years, I had been working with Shell Digital Ventures and Shell Decarbonization. From inception through to ideation, market research and the eventual launch - our global team has launched an award winning new platform in partnership with IBM. We sought to support the digital transformation of heavy asset industries with an arsenal of solutions, services and industry expertise. Following these efforts, we transitioned to accelerate the decarbonization of hard to abate sectors - where I led efforts for the North American mining industry.

Listed skills include Mining, Autocad, Mining Engineering, Surface Mining, and 16 others.
