I am responsible for determining the technical direction of the Mainframe Messaging and Integration feature at JP Morgan Chase & Co. This requires me to have a deep understanding of the goals and desires of our business partners, both external and within the firm. I must ensure I accurately gather and document all technical and business requirements, understand the business goals, work with vendors, document proposals, and advocate for best practices. My driving desire is to deliver on our partners' business goals with the least amount of cost, the highest levels of efficiency, and in as secure a method as is practicable to ensure they achieve the highest level of return on investment as is possible. I also create and update documentation that the rest of the team can rely upon to clearly guide them in the build and support processes to ensure an alacritous roll-out as well as long-term stability.

I manage the production support side of the zOS (Mainframe) MQ and IIB team.

Working with the CICS and MQ applications in the Mainframe (z/OS, zOS) space as well as distributed and other platforms.

Worked with mainframe automation tools to improve production and better integrate the z/OS and distributed spaces. I accepted requests from engineers and businesses to design, create, implement, test and support various automation solutions custom tailored to fit their needs.Specifically, creation of various rules (message-based, time-based, request, end of job, etc) and REXX execs to automate actions on the mainframe. Also, the creation of a web-based tool to display the status of several aspects of the mainframe using the automation tool as a back end.

Perform support for Crestron, Elmo, projector and other smart classroom hardware and software. Work was both scheduled and on call, and I would provide support for professors and their students whenever required.
