I took the opportunity to serve the students at Emory University as a Campus Minister with Bread Coffeehouse. Once I've raised my funding, I'll be on campus full time telling stories, cooking food, and helping point students, like Paul did thousands of years ago on Mars Hill, to the 'Unknown God.' Bread is extremely unique because they offer coffee, food, conversations, community, and the love of Jesus in an authentic and non-confrontational way that doesn't ask anything from the students. We get to serve them like Jesus did by having honest conversations and loving the students exactly where they're at, but too much for them to stay there. Because Bread doesn't ask for anything in return for the coffee, food, or community, ministers like myself depend on the generosity of prayer and funding of partners to be able to do what we do.
