I am responsible for partnering with the business to manage a governance and prioritization system that allows for effective management of BT priorities, understanding of business goals and requirements, and aligning holistic solutions (people, process and technology) with the overall business strategy.

Reporting to the Manager of Lottery Operations, I am responsible for consulting and advising internal and key external stakeholders through the development, execution and evaluation of new Lottery equipment, revenue generating signage, operational procedures and major cross-functional Lottery initiatives that impact Lottery retailers and the player experience.I act as a lottery operations subject matter expert, a project management lead for key Lottery Operations initiatives, and build foundational programs, automation and re-engineer process to ensure operational excellence while maximizing cost efficiencies.I provide informal functional leadership by leading and managing employees as a technical subject matter expert on projects and initiatives. In addition, I act as the Lottery Operations issues management lead and liaise with key stakeholders to identify the scope of issues, leading collaboration and communication to drive issues to resolution.

I managed and supported the development of a diverse and broader team of 16 to 24 employees. I worked directly with the president to plan, develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiencies and create exceptional end to end customer experiences for a very unique and challenging customer base.I managed a supply chain consisting of over 100 vendors, 30,000 skus, and over two million dollars in yearly inventory purchase. I managed the lease negotiations, planning and execution of two operational moves resulting in cost savings of over $100,000.Some highlights of major initiatives I championed include re-engineering our shipping, receiving and fulfillment processes to reduce delivery times by 50% and cut resource requirements by 40% while maintaining output and productivity levels. I also researched, procured and deployed new order management and CRM software to support the increasing complexity and customization required to drive our high growth strategies online, through our catalogue and retail store.

In addition I was also responsible for marketing, business intelligence and analytics, focusing on customer behavior to drive change in our marketing, distribution and product strategies to grow sales and cut costs.I built custom sql queries connecting our sales and inventory systems and built dashboard and custom analytical tools to help interpret and translate large pools of customer, sales and inventory data into understandable and actionable metrics.

In addition, I managed the migration of our website to a new eCommerce engine and grew sales in excess of 25% year over year.

Evenings and weekends, I coached our local competitive youth climbing team as well as instructing basic indoor climbing course, lead courses and advanced technique courses to wide variety of students. My interest and passion in climbing and youth sports help me devote the time required to really make a difference. I enjoy coaching rock climbing, instructing and giving back to the climbing community in any way I can. I am a registered level 2 indoor instructor, a member in good standing with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG), a previous director of the Climbers Access Society of BC (CASBC) and previously coach of the Canadian National Youth Climbing Team.
