Gene Anderson has served as CEO, Chairman, President and Adviser for both public and private companies. He was president and founder of Assets For Asia (AFA), an international investment research and due diligence group. Gene majored in business law and received his certification in strategic marketing from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Gene was a pilot and former licensed private investigator with his partner, LAPD Internal Affairs Detective Sergeant David Twitchell. He was a Karate Instructor and semi-finalist in the 1972 International Karate Championships. He was a bodyguard in his early 20's and received an 'Award for Bravery' from Senator Ralph Dills. In 2006 Gene received the "Commitment to Youth Award" from the Oregon State Youth Authority.Mr. Anderson has served as Senior Pastor of the House of Prayer, sponsored and traveled with Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, and ministered with the Director of Evangelism for the Assemblies of God. In 2007, Gene was a keynote speaker at one of the largest recorded Christian events in history (8 million in attendance, The Holy Ghost Congress, Redemption City, Nigeria). Christian MinistriesGene attended the Stephen Olford Institute for Biblical Preaching and served as a Billy Graham counselor. Gene founded a prison ministry and was chaplain at Pelican Bay State Prison. Gene also served as an Instructor for Chuck Colson's 'Prison Fellowship' (Angel Tree). Gene and his fellow bible school alumni, Bishop Justus Anunga, founded a non-profit organization building orphanages, medical clinics, and schools in Kenya, East Africa. (Victorious Outreach Ministries) VOM has sheltered, fed and educated thousands of children whose parents had died from AID’s, malaria, etc. That work continues today under the name African Orphan Outreach. Gene invited Jesus into his life as Lord and Savior in May 1965 at 7 years old and has enjoyed sharing Jesus with anyone who will listen for over 50 years.Lastly, Gene wants everyone to know that all ministry activities (good works) that are listed here are nice, but can save no one. Only Jesus deserves the honor and the glory and the credit.. for anything that is considered good. All glory goes to Jesus. Our good works cannot take away sin. Gene wants you to know that only through faith in Jesus (believing on His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead) can justify and save you for heaven. Jesus came to save sinners and we all fall short of God's glory.
