• With a mighty but small team of two we completed a revamp of the two major SPAN apps by successfully navigating competing interests, thorough research, and usability testing.• I created a new design system that was holistic across the suite of SPAN products to save development time.

· Shifting a “build to learn” mindset to be user-centric by using more Pendo surveys, opportunity trees, and clearer problem framing to save dev time.· Facilitated several vision workshops to shape squad missions, user JTBD, and roadmaps.· Implemented new meeting cadences and sprint rituals for high efficiency and collaboration.

• I hired a team of 13 people (managers, designers, researchers) across the Sonder hospitality ecosystem (booking website, guest-facing mobile app, and internal operational tools). • Successfully navigated a move of the product design team to under the technology org. Once there, I helped to shape the technology org’s OKRs and developed new design and research charters.• To streamline quarterly planning, I pushed for clearer problem statements, success measures, and impact prioritization through better brief writing.• I pushed for more space to be able to create visions and longer term roadmaps through workshops. • I developed on-boarding processes, career leveling guides, hiring guides and scorecards.

• I lead a team of 6 to design critical tools for Salesforce (risk management tools, sales dashboards, conference room controllers) and built the website to take the Dreamforce conference virtual during Covid.• To better serve our business counterparts, I co-created a design intake and prioritization process, implemented better resourcing and tracking tools, and helped the team create office hours.• I evangelized the design think process to the org, pushed for end-user validation, and clear success measurement where previously none of those existed.• I was instrumental in the growth of designers through patience, leveling competencies, and the thoughtful creation of individual development plans.

• I facilitated a team of 15 talented product designers across Beijing, Los Angeles, and San Jose to work closely and effectively with engineering and product on vehicle interface.• In only a few months, we completed the design system and designs for the MVP in-car screen experience through a high-touch iterative and collaborative process in preparation for CES.• Partnering closely with the Head of Product, I resourced design over multiple tracks of work and ensured a constant flow of well defined and prioritized user stories.• I kept the executive team up-to-date on key design decisions and rationale.• I pushed for physical prototypes to validate interaction concepts for future vehicle models.

• Hired a team of six designers to create the MVP for brand communications (physical, digital, website), internal mobile apps & dashboards, and merchandising. • We created an intake system and status updates for brand requests. • In lieu of a PM, I created the product roadmap and led sprint rituals.

I developed the overall interaction model as well as established the visual language for the in-vehicle interfaces of the Lucid Air show car. Worked heavily on the instrument cluster, center display, rear seat entertainment, and mobile apps. I was the key interaction advisor on topics of ADAS, HVAC, and interior ergonomics and was the point of contact for QA of engineering builds.

I created the in car touch screen experience for the Tesla Model S and Model X. I led the design and requirements writing of navigation, Bluetooth, calling, browser, radio/xm, media, driver controls, cluster apps, and steering wheel controls. I created the MVP Tesla mobile experience for iPhone and Android.

Created both the user experience and interface for new iTunes features. I launched iTunes Ping across multiple platforms, iPad iTunes faceted search, iCloud for iTunes, iBooks in iTunes, and Mac App Store.

Stepped into a creative director role for Blackatlas.com and took care of the project from start to finish. Concepted and art directed Cisco GSX, Sprite.com and Sprite Fan Faceoff.

Redesigned large e-commerce platforms like Nikestore.com and HP.com. Created a system to implement Nike's seasonal campaigns into that platform. Won the pitch for Taco Bell as a client for R/GA.

Created the Lebron IV site and many of the Nike sites for the Asia Pacific region. Concepted unique experiences for high-profile Xbox 360 titles, most notably Halo 3 Believe, Mass Effect, and Gears of War 2.

Designed award-winning sites that were truly innovative in their use of video and interactivity. Examples include Adidas MLS, Kevin Garnett KG3, Orbit Friends of Bright, Adidas Football, Leapfrog.com, and Leapster World.

At Juxt we worked on Flash sites for various clients. Some of my notable work included creating illustrations for Nestea Ice and Target UP2D8 (web application). Worked on the animation and motion for Nestea Cool, Boost Mobile banners, Samuel Adams & Monster House, MyPlash, and ALN.

Created weekly marketing campaigns to increase cell phone sales. Designed online banners and email newsletters with unique looks.

Redesigned the brand system, logo, and the website for the College of Engineering. Maintained the website as well as updating for web accessibility.
