About Michel Richaud

I believe that flexibility and adaptability are necessary complements to ones experience and preparation. By having such skills, I have enjoyed working in various positions in diverse industries. I have a big passion for the sports & entertainment industry, having most of my experience in operations and business development. I graduated from the Global MBA program (2015) at The George Washington University where I focused my studies in Data Analytics and Sports Management. I have a major in Economics and have a Masters in International Business and Administration of Soccer.After graduating I came back to Mexico in order to contribute to the professionalization of the business of sports in Mexico and LATAM. Designed a Shipping Routing Table, a matrix of information where upon a new order the shipping carrier would be assigned along with its cost and delivery time. Also, increased from 2 to 8 the number of states with Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option. Covering the 5 most important cities in the country, thus increasing by 20% the sales in each city. The goal set by senior management of 95% of on-time deliveries was accomplished after making several changes within the outbound structure and re-negotiating contracts with delivery service companies. Costs were also reduced by almost 50% with our biggest delivery partner, Estafeta.I managed a team of around 30 people in both the warehouse and the office. I designed a reward system to motivate workers based on reaching monthly goals.
