* Working as part of the Retail Technologies team, directly responsible for integrating various facets of technology in the retail industry as Dominos and Dunkin Donuts comes under our aegis. Awarded with the ‘Best Employee of the Quarter’ award for delivering error free, on time projects continuously.* Handling the Master Data Management team which looks after data updates from a POS and SAP point of view. The main objective of the team is to accommodate the requests from Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations and other verticals and provide an end to end update mechanism for 1200+ stores across India.* Responsible for Integrating GPS tracking hardware/software with our POS application, thereby keeping a track of all the deliveries being made and deriving business value on the data being generated.* Developed an offline mobile point of sale system for order taking at places where connectivity is a challenge. The application requires data sync at EOD and runs on Android OS at the front end and uses Spring/Hibernate for the backend dashboard which collates data from all devices and projects it as per the requirements. The backend portal acts like an admin portal for these offline POS systems.* Working on the development of Self Ordering Kiosk wherein the primary aim is to create an application which can be used by consumers to order from any location where the kiosk is installed, thereby increasing sales and opening up different avenues for the retailer to expand its presence.

• Working as a Java resource in a retail environment which deals with integrating the POS application with other third party systems through web services and Websphere MQ.• Support Consultant (L3 Support)–gathers details around support specific requirements from production issues.• Writing automated checks, fixes and diagnosing and housekeeping scripts for production. Diagnosis and solving critical production tickets with extensive subject knowledge and debugging skills.• Was part of the Deployment team which resulted in the usage of TNG Servers to remotely deploy updated versions/fixes/file deployments/security certificates and other utilities on systems across Europe for Dixons Carphone Group stores from remote locations. • Delivered a housekeeping object which directly resulted in revenue savings of <18000 GBP/year(27000USD), as per the estimate given by the organization. The object resulted in the prevention of extra papers being printed which was almost a daily phenomenon and resulted in the wastage of resources and revenue loss. The 100% reduction in the incidents arising due to this was a by-product (from 45 incidents per month to nil).

Developed an application in JAVA and MySQL. Was part of the college internship.
