As a Regulated Canadian Immigration consultant who has been involved in multiple businesses over the last 25 years my role is to provide expertise in Canadian Business immigration and other immigration programs that are specifically tailored to each of the client needs.

My primary role as the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. I plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company and develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. Apart from new clients I also am required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. My role enables me to work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff. I also manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company, Strategic planning to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.

As a Business Analyst I am an integral part of the business IT operation and work to improve the quality of the products and services being delivered by Tekminds to customers. Apart from gathering Business requirements, I also assist in Integration and Acceptance Testing, support the development of training and implementation material, participates in the implementation, and provides post-implementation support. I am also involved in the development of project plans and often provide project management skills when these skills are not available in other project participants.
