PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. During my PhD in the field of “Nanoscale mechanics of Silk Protein using Molecular Dynamics Method” (under the supervision of Prof. Devendra Dubey and Prof. S. P. Singh), my research was broadly focused on developing an insight into the mechanical deformation behavior of silk protein and silk-based biomaterials, in correlation with underlying chemo-mechanical and molecular mechanisms governing the mechanical behavior of silk, observable at macro-scale. I am interested in the field of computational materials science applied to exploring the mechanics and dynamics of natural or synthetic biomaterials and biomimetic materials, at multiplelength scales, in order to understand the origin of observable behavior and response of materials and systems.
