RESPONSIBILITIES• Business process owner for sales department [Also for the ERP (SAP)] with focus on the smooth business transaction within the organization between various departments and external business channel partners like dealerships and Service setups.• Competently strategizing Pipeline management (sales funnel), sales plans, alongside forecasting and supporting the production schedule in coordination with the procurement team and field sales team.• Assigned as National Head for outbound logistics, sales commercial and sales admin; responsibly handled sales planning, inventory optimization, and production scheduling for India and Export operations. KRA also comprising of the cost of sale, DMS implementation and dealers’ satisfaction, etc.• Trained and assisted the team vis-à-vis handling certain areas like vehicle warehousing/depot management, consultancy on various commercial activities, excel performance and resultant achievement in handling internal/external customers. Special focus on flawless documentation for outbound logistics for any destination i.e. International or Domestic.• Have created blueprint for SAP and DMS during the initial days in the organization.ACCOMPLISHMENTS • A smooth ERP driven business process resulted in better sales planning/pipeline management / more accurate forecasting and seamless order management right from dealerships to production scheduling – this resulted transparency in ordering and expected delivery schedules with a week’s tolerance (from unspecified earlier) for own sales team and for the dealerships who are placing orders.• My team had achieved zero cancellation of invoices/sales documents because of flawless documentation during CY 2017.• Cost of sale had been between 97 – 98 % of the targeted value for the last three years of the tenure. Hence saving of 2-3% every year on the revenue clocked.
