I have completed MS Biotechnology from the University of South Florida. I completed my bachelor's in biotechnology in 2018 from Amity University, India. My projects and internships during my undergraduate degree strengthened my basics, particularly in recombinant DNA technology and immunology. During my masters, I was fortunate enough to learn from courses like transnational Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bioethics, Molecular Biology and explore the business side of science. My masters' internship dealt with characterization and purification of a cell division associated protein from Bacillus. My interest lies in research related to microbiology, immunology, and RDT. Biotechnology has the power to manipulate the various elements of nature and hence, I would like to use this as a means to provide a better solution for global problems like disease, health, and food security.
