Provide operational oversight and guidance to; aviation staff, medical staff, communications staff/facilities, support services, community/customer agencies, business development, FAA, and/or other regulatory agencies. Design, implement and evaluate educational and training programs for the HEMS industry. Function as a customer relations liaison, coordinating and advising customers on safety, operations, public relations, marketing, education/training and outreach opportunities. Managed and oversaw helicopter EMS operations for Omniflight Helicopters Inc. at Lutheran hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Directly supervised three pilots and three technicians. Coordinated education and training for 60 HEMS team members. Functioned as Omniflight’s customer relations liaison, coordinating and advising Lutheran hospital on safety, aviation operations, public relations, marketing, and outreach opportunities.

Operated as an air medical helicopter pilot for 10 years at Methodist Hospital, a level one trauma center in Indianapolis, Indiana. I performed duties as the base safety director and was the chairman of the programs safety committee for nine years, responsible for all safety training and education for over 145 individuals and all community outreach programs. I also functioned as the assistant base manager for two years.
