Architected the application development model and platform. Designed a type system tied to a type definition language with bindings to Java and Javascript for dynamic deployment and execution of code in a multi-tenant environment. Extended the Javascript runtime (Rhino) for native Decimal support. Built several core APIs and worked on expression and query languages.

Architected Apache ODE, the reference open source WS-BPEL and process engine powering Intalio|BPMS and other commercially available solutions. Led both open source and internal development branches of Intalio's process execution server. Mentor and project lead for the Apache community and Intalio's developers.

Implemented their first platform and mentored in-house developers.
