I am interested in almost everything within the spectrum of place-based economic development, with a special focus on firm performance, innovation spaces, culture & heritage, attractiveness and the growing role of cities as key actors for change. And I bring an extensive experience in these fields gained from a variety of positions, ranging from policy decision maker to international consultant. I am regularly commissioned to conduct large-scale, EU-funded transnational work plans, having supported over 40 cities and local/regional authorities in this way, including Dublin, Oslo, Liverpool, Bologna, Vilnius, Frankfurt or Athens. As a frequent speaker, I´ve contributed to nearly a hundred international seminars and conferences, often as organizer.
