Lead Engineer for the Red Hat Linux Environments of almost 2,000 VM’s and Physical servers running on Dell, HP, Cisco UCS and Oracle x86 Hardware. Additionally was an escalation point for complex issues pertaining to Windows Environments. Designed the hardened templates for all Linux servers with Qualys scans confirming the systems were secure. Worked with Red Hat Satellite and Tanium environments to ensure our systems would be up to date. Mentoring L1-L3 Support Staff for Linux, Windows, Virtualization and Authentication design & Issues. Managing a team of approximately one dozen contractors to assist with day to day task ensuring our environments were stable and secure. Maintained Reverse App Proxies. Worked directly with Vendors on emerging technologies, product purchases, cost cutting initiatives, renewals, end of life and more. Documentation, Diagrams, and Training of environments.- Designed and deployed Western Union’s first Secure Enterprise Authentication with Privilege Escalation to our Active Directory servers for Linux Environments using Centrify. Centrally managed sudo via Zoning with Computer Roles. Log forwarding configured to QRadar and Splunk for support and troubleshooting.- Datacenter Migration of all our Corporate Windows Server VM’s to AWS EC2 using the CLI, converting OVA to AMI with encryption. Creation of AMI Templates & Security Groups Rules (Firewall) in compliance with InfoSec Guidelines.- Deployment & Management of our Oracle Private Cloud Appliance running with Oracle Enterprise Virtual Machine Manager under Xen Hypervisor. Migrating all Oracle Enterprise Linux and Windows Applications to the new hypervisor, saving Western Union millions USD in per core licensing over running in our VMware Hypervisor. Attached with Storage from Dell EMC Unity, VNX, VMAX and ISILON.

Enviorment consisted of Novel Netware 3.11 and Windows 3.11 which I designed the migration to Windows 95 at this time and implemented their 1st Windows NT Server for File and Print Sharing connecting to Novel.
