Manage packaging applications for deployment, desktop patch management, and desktop/laptop image creation and maintenance. Serves as a single point of contact for end-users’ questions and support regarding upgrades and installations to the Bank’s desktop computing software environment. Responsible for packaging applications to make deployment of software automated and efficient. Develop and maintain test plans before deployment to limit installation and upgrade issues. Researches and answers all client and IT questions and concerns prior to upgrades and installations, and make recommendations on future directions.

Performs onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users and recommends and implements corrective solutions as needed.

Installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrade of personal computers and software to ensure optimal workstation performance. Troubleshoots problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and provides end-user assistance where required. Provide telecommunications systems backup coverage. Assists in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop needs. Receives and responds to incoming calls and emails regarding desktop problems. Collaborates with Network Administrators to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.
