As the leader of the Information Security function at a top-tier liability insurance provider and healthcare consultancy based in Atlanta, Matthew Baker specializes in information system risk and control by working to manage risk and improve organizational performance.Matt has over seventeen years of experience in risk & control and IT management, including leadership of teams on a diverse array of projects such as HIPAA risk assessment, third-party controls assurance, automated application controls assurance in market leading ERP's (SAP), and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 assessments. Matt maintains a CISSP license, has passed CISA and CEH exams, and is an active member of the Atlanta information security community.Matt has worked previously in internal audit functions, as well as in public accounting in both the New York metro area and in Sydney, Australia. Matt began his career as a Systems Engineer at State Street Global Advisors in Boston where he was a member of an infrastructure server support team.
