As the UI / UX specialist at Effectory I am solely responsible for the visual presentation and interaction strategies of both our internal as well as external desktop applications and Apps. Guiding the process from organizing the user research and information architecture, creating wireframes, mockups and prototypes and facilitating the actual implementation till the verification through user testing. Set up from scratch the role of Technical Designer within Effectory. I have personally set the scope of the function defined by activities, tasks and responsibilities as required by the day to day software engineering process and business requirements. Being a technical designer within Effectory is about knowing the architecture of the application landscape and the applications and systems it consists of. Analyzing added business value, integration, risks, effort and setting the priority of the applications (or extensions of) to be developed is one of the key-responsibilities for the technical designer.Key responsibilities include:- Creating the user interface and functional flow of applications- Creating technical designs for extending existing applications as well as newly developed applications and modules in both design-upfront as just-enough-design situations- (Re)Defining and documenting the architecture of Effectory's application infrastructure- Planning and prioritization of projects and assigning them to the executing Scrum teams- Defining, organizing and optimizing the adaption of the Scrum software engineering methodology- Finding the right balance between business and technical needs in setting development priorities- Managing outsourced development project in which the distributed scrum team construction has been applied- Managing outsourced projects to third partiesSoftware:Visual Studio (2003 - 2012) - SQL Server (2000 - 2012) - Visio (2003 - 2013)
