- Responsible for independently drafting and negotiating hundreds of medical research and technology commercialization contracts pertaining to the life sciences, drug discovery, mHealth, software, and technology startups.- Worked closely with faculty, other tech transfer team members, the General Counsel's office, and other stake holders as appropriate.- Experienced as first chair negotiator on significant collaborations.- Responsible for commercializing technologies including research tools and software.- In charge of JHTT’s export control compliance program, including serving as JHTT’s representative within JHU’s university-wide Export Control Advisory Board.- Familiar with a variety of supporting information systems including SharePoint, Flintbox, Salesforce, InfoEd, and Microsoft Office.

Built and maintained relationships with industry partners, and managed several collaborations with large pharmaceutical companies.Interfaced with senior medical faculty to develop a thorough understanding of their research and to analyze the potential commercial partnering opportunities for their research.

Worked as an electron microscopist and oversaw lab safety. This included doing monthly inspections of the lab and updating the chemical hygeine plan.
