About Jim Wilder

My work in driving transformation in growing businesses range in size from large corporate organizations (Fortune 500) to small and medium-sized businesses. These transformations have allowed me to demonstrate how the effective use of information technology can help drive actual business results of double digit revenue growth and triple digit earnings growth.I have had the distinction of working at the senior executive level across multiple industry segments from physician practices to insurance and biotech, including retail healthcare. These experiences have allowed me to build a portfolio of best practices in executing business strategy with the appropriate technical architecture and core platforms that create sustainable shareholder value. I have done this for both publicly traded and private (PE-backed) companies that have transacted with significant returns.I am especially proud of the accomplishments of my teams in building technology solutions that support dynamic environments where double digit growth had previously challenged technical and operational capabilities. Managing the people, process, and technology side of the business holistically has allowed me to integrate diverse teams to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce technical debt. My leadership experience is rooted in managing technology, but also includes a variety of other executive leadership roles including business strategy, product development, customer services, revenue cycle management, and business operations.Building on my MBA from University of Miami, I have gained insight from thought leaders across industries through executive programs at prestigious business schools including The Office of Strategy Management (1-year program at Harvard); General Management (2-week program at Wharton); and on The Role of CIO (1-week program at Stanford). Another path that has helped me gain deeper insight is industry groups and think tanks such as The Advisory Board, Gartner, Forrester, and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). I am occasionally asked to share my own experiences as a guest speaker at conferences including those mentioned above, speaking on topics such as technology strategy and executive leadership best practices.
