An excellent administrator is a leader who realizes the importance of building positive relationships with all of the stakeholders within the learning community. He or she prioritizes the needs of the students and aligns those needs with the goals and mission of the school. An excellent administrator is cognizant of the school culture as well as the culture of the community to which the school serves and he or she is equally sensitive to the needs of the staff members within the learning community. An excellent administrator is a servant leader within the community who possesses a sense of family along with motivational skills to achieve and maintain academic success for the learners within the community. The personal characteristics of an excellent administrator are leadership, accountability, civility, professionalism, ethical, compassion, and resourcefulness. I am an excellent administrative candidate who embraces diversity, collaboration, creativity and accountability of all members of the learning community.
