The AMA was founded in 2020 to uphold standards for our community of artist representatives working in the commercial advertising and editorial sectors through shared resources, education, and advocacy.

Represented a roster of internationally acclaimed advertising content creators, managing all aspects of fee negotiation, contracted image rights, and targeted marketing across social and traditional media channels. Responsibilities included developing customized marketing plans with artists, presenting printed portfolios, and overseeing the production of agency promotional materials. Managed all web assets—including photographers' online portfolios, the company blog, and social media accounts—and coordinated local meetings as well as national sales trips to engage with new and existing clients. Actively attended trade shows and industry events to expand the network and facilitated the production of specialized photo, motion, and CGI projects. Additionally, scouted and developed emerging talent alongside managing an established roster that included Tim Flach, Todd Baxter, Mauricio Candela, Kristina Varaksina, Jean Malek, Brian Cummings, Oli Kellett, David Ryle, Philip Haynes, Andy Batt, Tim Jones, and Circle Media.

Part of a global team managing editorial and commercial assignments, stock, and feature sales, reporting directly to the global sales director and working closely with the global archive director to ensure seamless integration of new content into the company’s digital asset management system. Responsibilities included overseeing all branded social media channels, scheduling, and publishing daily content to an audience of over one million followers worldwide. Additional duties involved collaborating with Magnum Photos photographers on personal projects, facilitating meetings with brands, newspapers, magazines, book publishers, and representing Magnum Photos at key industry events and professional workshops, including Visa Pour l'Image in Perpignan, France.

As the main point of contact for clients, this role involved handling requests by phone and email, negotiating fees, and tracking image usage in daily, weekly, and monthly publications. Regularly pitching relevant content from photographers and global suppliers to clients. Managing image usage rights and handling invoicing were also key responsibilities.
