As a versatile Contract Instructional Designer, I manage learning projects and develop training courses for an array of clients and vendors. My expertise spans creating dynamic ILT and eLearning materials across sectors, including leadership development, new employee onboarding, and industry-specific training for restaurant, hospitality, military, pharmaceutical, medical, agriculture, engineering, IT, mortgage, and banking fields. One of the functions of the institute is that it services as an language school in Mexico that I occasionally perform freelance work on a as-needed basis. I was responsible for establishing and building their English Second Language curriculum for children (ages 4-18) and adults. Several of the adult students in their professional careers are entrepreneurs, business owners, executives ,or work in government agencies. Due to the success of their English speaking ability, it resulted in several of the students having their organization outsource their instructional work to the Institute which allows me to provide my consulting services.Achievements:Established and maintained an English language program and soft skills course for call centers to utilize.Developed and published interactive on-demand and live online training for state’s agriculture department.Supervised the course design and development for manufacturing clients that focus on operations, safety, and international/domestic laws.

I consulted and coached the Airmen for the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) of the United States Air Force to share my expertise to modernize training (e.g. simulation training, virtual reality) to prepare the troops for their job role; align instructional design process and procedures within the chain of command; and provided direction and advice for updating existing training content. Together we built the infrastructure for an effective and agile force to protect the United States of America and serve our interest.

I was first hired as a Curriculum Developer II to develop training solutions for top-priority projects that align with the company’s strategic objectives. I partnered with vice-presidents and directors to serve as subject matter experts (SMEs) for the learning solutions that I developed.
