As the lead infrastructure architect, I manage a small team tasked with supporting the technolo-gies that drive the backend side of the business. As a startup, my main responsibilities were to build a completely redundant, global scale backend that had to ability to scale infinitely to sup-port a front end mobile app. As of 12/2015, we are serving over 60 million requests per day with an average latency of 6ms per request.

This involved taking two dell poweredge servers, enabling a bonded interface with a high speed san connection to a large data store with failover protocols• Built several proof of concept servers for a future Xen deployment using latest released version of Xen, running on top of Centos 5 servers.• Developed custom Xen VM workstations for offshore developers • Developed and maintained several nagios monitoring programs & scripts
