Coming back in a healthcare work environment at Centenary Hospital connected all the information that I have from previous experiences and interactions. I mainly deal with a lot of mental health related calls. That comes along with thorough understanding of different Mental Health Act forms that are directly related to patients. I have learned and developed number of skills that I stated below in point forms.     • Analyzed and produced course-of-action reports to every on site incidents.    • COVID-19 security screening.    • Enforced Trespass to Property Act and Emergency Response Codes.    • Followed established security and safety procedures and posted orders to include enforcement of company rules, policies and regulations.    • Immediately report safety hazards including debris and/or unusual objects to prevent workplace injury.    • Monitored and authorized entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons.    • Patrolled exterior and interior of the facility to look for suspicious activities or enforce property rules by notifying core guards for assistance.    • Performed desk duties such as; CCTV monitoring, keys access control, receiving and dispatching core guard to designated assistance calls.    • Responded to Form 1 patients, crisis assist and escort calls alongside with the core guards.    • Thorough understanding of Mental Health Act and related forms of it.     • Wrote reports outlining incidents such as theft, unauthorized access violations or other unusual occurrences to help support later criminal or civil actions.

Working as a mall security professional at 10 Dundas Mall, Downtown core Toronto is quite challenging task to do. The usual encounter would be homeless and mentally challenged individuals that cause nuisance in most cases. Dealing with above mentioned individuals requires empathy and great communication skills to gain compliance without escalation.

My main role in doing this job is to mainly deter theft, and arrest once the     subject exited the premises without paying. Started my security career as a part-time employee managing few commercial buildings downtown, Toronto. Shortly after, I moved to a healthcare setting at Humber River Hospital by Keele and Wilson site.
