As an experienced Network Designer with a background in Electronics and Telecommunication and Business Management, I have a strong passion for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures. I possess a range of technical skills and expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud technologies, storage technologies, and core applications, such as MS Exchange and SQL.Currently, I work as a Network Designer at Civtec Ltd., where I provide planning and engineering expertise to the network, including civil-associated works for cable backbone and distribution infrastructure expansions. I work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software development, IT operations, and security teams, to ensure that the network infrastructure supports their needs. I also interact with internal SMEs for design details and provide the physical layer design, generate Scopes of Work, and design packages for adds, moves, and changes to the Client's optical (and copper) cable plant infrastructure.Prior to my current role, I worked as a Fibre Technician at Civtec Ltd., where I installed Fibre optic and Category 6e Structured Cable Distribution Systems. I performed site surveys, provided coordination in the design, analysis, and installation process, and programmed ONT (Optical Network Terminal). I also installed outlets, pulled cable and pre-termination, and organized, formed, dressed, and labelled cables to industry standards.In addition, I work as a Fire Designer and Project Support at Zero Fire Ltd., where I design fire systems using AutoCAD and Revit 3D design programs. I review tender documents before commencing design, produce fire design drawings, and ensure sprinkler head numbers are less than the tendered amount. I also visit sites to ensure the design is as accurate as possible, communicate with fitters as necessary to ensure the design is practical for installation requirements, and attend site services meetings.Aside from my technical expertise, I possess a range of skills in Dynamics 365, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Photoshop.
