Manager within Strategic Analytics & Modelling (SAM), in Financial Advisory.Working within the Analytics IMO (a Centre of Excellence) to promote analytics and help organizations implement their own analytics initiatives. Formed a small design firm, focussing on interaction design and interface design. Notable projects include: - Worked on an installation/exhibit for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.- Contracted to design usability laboratory concept for the University of Toronto’s Knowledge Media Design Institute, which helped win 6mil CAD grant. - GUI designer and consultant on several projects for the University of Toronto's TAGLab, including projects dealing with the treatment of Alzheimer's and isolation in the elderly.- Designer & consultant for a much publicized mobile aid for people with limited communication ability, myVoice. - Designed a novel visualization project with faculty at the Ontario College of Art & Design. - Contributed copy for a traveling exhibition on the future of design, initially shown in Copenhagen.- Consultation on digital properties for television production companies.A member of Dr. Ronald Baecker's Technologies for Aging Gracefully Lab and Dr. Tom Bessai's Design and Computation group, both at the University of Toronto.Contributing writer for Design:Related.

Typical projects require client facing, document generation, wire-framing, information architecture, interface design, prototyping (low and high fidelity), and, occasionally, implementation and asset generation. Interface designed for a variety of platforms, including kiosks, tablets/ iPad, mobile devices, websites. Projects have included a therapeutic applications, games, and communication pieces. Other job responsibilities include some project management and creative/art direction.

From September 2007 to June 2008: Team member at The Institute without Boundaries, an interdisciplinary think-tank solving a variety of design problems and developing new design methodologies. Developed solutions for urban density, community housing, and rural revitalization. Worked on the World House Costa Rica project, a partnership with the government of Costa Rica. Project entailed designing solutions for sustainable development in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. Additionally, created illustrations and graphics, designed documents and publications, wrote copy. June 2008-Novemember: Associate with the Institute Without Boundary, working on a variety of design projects, predominantly in interaction design.

Researcher within Dr. Saul Greenberg’s renowned Human Computer Interaction Lab, working within small groups of peers, often as a designer/researcher/constructor. Performed novel research and design in tangible interaction; designing interfaces, prototyping systems, and working in tandem with an industrial designer to create physical components. Co-designed prototyped innovative digital tele-conferencing system that made use of physical sensors.

Researcher and programmer within Dr. Carl Gutwin’s Human Computer Interaction (HCI) Lab. Worked closely with Dr. Gutwin on a number of projects in a designer/researcher/constructor role. Co-designed an algorithm and implemented a novel compression technique for multi-user systems. Implemented and co-designed multi-user messaging system that aimed to digitally replicate the social interactions found in open-office environments. Developed computer tools for the analysis of patterns in the responses given by subjects of a psychological experiment.

Member within unique Software Engineering / User Interface research lab, headed by Dr. Kevin Schneider. Researched and developed unique, futuristic interface designs, software systems, and programming languages.
