Bruce Associates is an independent creative and strategic communications consultancy. It is experienced in helping companies tell their story through times of growth and change. It specialises in financial and corporate communications with particular expertise in annual reports and corporate websites.

Creative Engagement Group (CEG) is a design consultancy with an integrated offering covering brand and financial communications. CEG forms a practise within the Strategic Communications Division of FTI Consulting (formerly FD), a global top-ten strategic communications consultancy. It was created from the various design entities within the Division, with offices in London, New York, Morristown, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Sydney. As UK team leader I was responsible for the strategic development and operational performance of CEG London, which is the creative hub for the EMEA region. The team has its own client accounts as well as working on Divisional and Group projects. It also works with a number of US clients and on global accounts and cross-border assignments. As a specialist in corporate communications, I was the practise lead for corporate reporting (content strategy, best practice and requirements). I led corporate website and branding projects, as well as supporting the divisional sector teams on IPO and M&A projects.I was account lead on a number of the team’s largest accounts including: Burford Capital, Darty Group (formerly KESA Electricals), Dialog Semiconductor, Nordgold, QBE and Serco.

A founding partner of 85FOUR which provided strategic and creative consulting in corporate branding, marketing and corporate communications. 85FOUR worked with clients from the EMEA region and US, and was part of FD (formerly Financial Dynamics).As MD, I was jointly responsible for the operational and strategic development of the business. I was also the team lead on corporate reporting which accounted for more than half the company’s revenue. In this capacity I was account lead on a number of key accounts including: Atos Origin, Debenhams, Dialog Semiconductor, Greene King, KPN Royal Dutch Telecom, Network Rail and QBE. 85FOUR was also one of the first of its peers to advise companies from the emerging markets of Eastern Europe. I was account director for many of these including Cherkizovo, MirLand Developments, Renaissance Capital (Russia); DTEK, Metinvest, MHP (Ukraine); and Plaza Centres (Hungary).

I worked on a number of the main accounts for clients including BBC, London Transport, Sedgwick Group, Schroders, Shire, The Passage and UBS. I was part of the management team that developed the business organically and through two transactions including its eventual sale to The Lighthouse Group.
