Managing a multinational team of product managers, software engineering and quality assurance engineers in the delivery of a software product portfolio of several innovative patent and patent-pending technologies.• Define strategic roadmaps and drive products through all product lifecycle phases: business case development, prioritization, development, delivery, end of product planning.• Evaluate tradeoffs between business objectives and customer requests, and set product strategy involving cost estimates, design, scope, schedule, resource allocation and lifecycle maintenance.• Transformed business by leading process improvement initiatives to improve customer engagement and customer satisfaction; releasing software at six-week intervals instead of annual waterfall releases. • Manage all aspects of a $5M departmental budget along with annual planning, resource utilization and management, and spending analysis.• Partner with vendors and negotiate contracts that reduce development costs while maintaining core strategic competencies and product quality.• Management experience leading 32 software engineers, 7 product engineers, and 2 quality engineers. Ran a cloud-hosted SaaS start-up that launched an innovative manufacturing marketplace app that provides product data content to the digital shop. Registered over 7,000 customers with a 35% customer retention rate.• Recruited 10 world-class engineers to form startup a cloud-hosted SaaS manufacturing marketplace that was online less than 18 months after product initiation.• Led design, development, testing and deployment of an on-demand application that reduces the time it takes for machine shops to find, select, and assemble tools by 75%.• Built an ISO-standard digital tooling catalog accessible from desktop or tablet via cloud-based software with up-to-date product data, inventory availability and expert advice.• Initiated a mobile product strategy that led to the successful launch of mobile platforms for the MachiningCloud app on iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
