At Everi Holdings in Las Vegas, NV, I serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) since February 2019. In this role, I report to the CEO and regularly present to the Board of Directors on the overall company security posture, audit results, and the status of security initiatives. I grew the security team from a team of two to one that oversees application/product security, physical security, vulnerability management, data loss and prevention, logging and monitoring, incident response, Identify and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) and IT compliance. My team's achievements include completing multiple SOC 2 certifications for Everi product lines and improving the PCI-DSS level 1 QSA review process for certification of over 3000 ATMs and POS units. I developed and maintained comprehensive documented Physical and Information Security programs and conducted table-top incident exercises with operations and executive teams. Furthermore, I collaborate with Internal Audit, Chief Legal Officer, and Compliance teams to ensure consistency with corporate risk and security processes and define IT Security and Architecture strategies and multi-year roadmaps and budgets.
