I am an experienced practitioner of public policy and strategic affairs, with a specialisation in technology and data issues. I spent close to a decade in the Singapore Public Service, where I was exposed to a diverse range of tasks – emergency responder, strategic planner, capability developer, spokesperson, paracounsellor, and policymaker. All these roles have helped me understand the importance of building trust in stakeholders, and how to do so.I am now with Kaspersky’s small but dynamic Government Affairs and Public Policy team, where I am responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with public sector stakeholders across 20+ Asia-Pacific countries, looking out for and understanding the impact of regulatory developments, furthering the company’s thought leadership in policy issues, and supporting business priorities.
