Chief Observer, Coach, Trainer for Operations Group - Sierra, US Army Mission Command Training Program (MCTP). I led a team of 44 Soldiers and five civilians that observed, coached and trained every Sustainment Brigade, Expeditionary Sustainment Command and Theater Sustainment Command, including general officer headquarters, conducting a pre-deployment or command post exercise. I improved the quality and capacity of Operations Group Sierra Mission Command Training Seminars by providing doctrinally based workshops on war-fighting functions with a focus on sustainment commands. I led, synchronized and directed a 276-member brigade and special staff to mission command the sustainment support for customer units in support of unified land operations. I synchronized training, assistance, and the welfare for 2,700 plus Soldiers assigned or under administrative control to the brigade; consisting of a Special Troops Battalion, Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Engineer Battalion, Military Police Battalion, and Explosive Ordnance Battalion. I executed operational and tactical sustainment operations in support of 10th Mountain Division, Brigade Task Forces, and Coalition Forces as required in support of unified land operations. I served as the Brigade Commander in the absence of the commander.

I was the Battalion Commander of the 548th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade. I led, synchronized and coordinated tactical transportation, field-level maintenance, field services, and supply support to the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) and Fort Drum units. I personally led and directed all operations within the battalion, to include mission command, planning, coordinating, synchronizing, training readiness, intelligence operations, physical security, force protection, CBRNE, deployments, force integration, Unit Status Report (USR), Budget spending and glide path, and sustainment support of five logistics companies consisting of up to 800 Soldiers. I trained the battalion to mission command integrated and synchronized Full-Spectrum Operations sustainment support in an expeditionary environment; I deployed and redeployed five companies in Army Force Generation; protected the force in the Homeland during overseas contingency operations in support of U.S., coalition, and multinational forces. I led the professional development, and mentoring of 48 officers including five company commanders, warrant officers, lieutenants, captains, two field grade officers and all senior noncommissioned officers within the battalion.

I provided direct support logistics to 13 Brigade-equivalent Task Forces and Coalition Forces operating in Regional Commands East, North and Capital to enable Joint efforts in Counter Insurgency Operations. I led, coordinated and executed contract oversight of the largest warehouse Supply Service Activity in the Army to include food CL I, construction material IV, and fuel CL III sites on Bagram Airfield. I directly managed the health, welfare, training, discipline, administrative support, combat readiness, professional and ethical development, and quality of life for 1,200 Soldiers, Officers and Non Commissioned Officers from National Guard, Reserve and Active Components.
