- Review and analyze safety regulatory activity to provide requirement forecasts to relevant development departments- Provide regulatory interpretations regarding FMVSS and consumer safety rating programs- Support NCAP and IIHS research and testing activities- Prepare and submit mandated regulatory reports- Liaise with NHTSA, IIHS, Alliance for Automotive Innovation, and other associations

- Oversee US safety-related compliance and testing activities- Act as liaison for 3rd party vehicle certification and testing communications (NHTSA, IIHS, test labs)- Submit required reports to NHTSA and IIHS to support compliance and/or testing activities- Coordinate with Subaru Corporation (SBR) to investigate unexpected test issues and serve as "window" to support US-specific activities and safety issues- Keep SBR and Subaru of America (SOA) management apprised of new compliance issues and industry trends

The founding of NYU Tandon Motorsports was based on the mission of building a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment for NYU students to gain hands on automotive engineering experience.For the team's third competition season, I lead over 60 students in a range of sub-teams including Business, Media, Engineering, and R&D.Tasks achieved:- Rebuilt Operations division with more focus on students' professional development, including diversity training- Lead new Business team in sponsor outreach and team branding- Testing & Manufacturing lead for Drivetrain - perform validation and benchmark tests for new gearbox design

- Staff prospective & admitted student events of over 400 attendees, including leading campus tours- Media specialist, provided photo and video marketing material - shot and directed MakerSpace promotion video- Encouraged incoming students with the perspective of an engaged student leader

Gained exposure to a wide variety of vehicle safety topics including crashworthiness, active safety systems, and ATDs. - Analyzed road performance data of Level 2 autonomous systems on BMW 5 Series, Volvo S90, Tesla Model S, and Mercedes E-Class. - Assisted in analysis of side impact research series consisting of 9 high-speed crashes. - Technical assistant in active safety testing, with experience setting up and initializing OXTS RT2000 systems for headlight testing program. - Processed data for next-generation head injury severity index, taking into account rotational acceleration.- Gained exposure to Biomechanics with 18-hour Injury Biomechanics Workshop Series, covering topics from thoracic to spinal injury, hosted by UVA Center for Applied Biomechanics- Experience in operation of Romer Absolute CMM Arm: Using the CMM, measured 40 vehicles in 29 landmark locations for an upcoming Bachelor thesis. Analysis will be comparison of landmarks in vehicle class distinction.
