CurrentInternal corporate finance adviser drawing on deep private-sector experience to deliver investment management expertise and advice to the International Climate Finance business at BEIS. UK International Climate Finance (ICF) plays a crucial role in addressing the global climate-change challenge. ICF has responsibility for investing the UK’s £5.8bn of climate funds between 2016 and 2021. This follows from the pivotal role played by the UK in securing the Paris Agreement of 2015, where global agreement was reached to limit atmospheric temperature rises to “well below” 2 degs C. Non-executive roles include alternate Investment Committee member of both UK Climate Investments (a BEIS/Macquarie joint venture) and REPP, the Renewable Energy Performance Platform, as well as non-executive director of Africa AHEAD.
