Using technologies including Angular, Java 8, Oracle, Arango, Rabbit Mq, REST, Tomcat, etc i was responsible for full SDLC. I would typically design, code, test and deploy features set out from the product owner. My main project was a web based application that pulled in (using multiple Spring Boot ETL processes) data from many of the companies large LOB applications and displayed it in one collective view. The application was a huge success giving business critical view of Eikon / Elekton customer configuration and status.Latter projects included working with a third party development team based in the US and Poland. I coordinated the delivery and development, the project was successfully completed and with went live in December. -

After that my time was split between adding DWR\Ajax to the main tourist website and writing new backend Web Services. I´ve added JMX to the companies tourist web application, MBeans are now used to dynamically control usage of the online booking engine. I have recently adding payment fraud preventions measures to the Tourist website, these include velocity and client IP address checking. Current work has been to write two new Swing applications, one to load test a Web Service responsible for customer payments and the other to analyze live server logs. The later displays results graphically. I try to push Agile processes in the department where possible and have passed DSDM APL1 exam -
Java DeveloperP&O Ferries Jun 2006 - Feb 2008Dover, Kent, GbWorking in a large IT team, my team initially constructed the Ferry Operators Freight website. Using the Spring MVC framework I was responsible for writing Java, JSP and JavaScript code. Subversion was used for version control and ANT for building projects. OC4J was used as the JEE application server. Development was done using many Agile techniques including XP with paired programming, JUnit and ANT. UML diagrams were used to design and write code. Using Java Swing, Java 5 and Java Web Services I was also involved in a project to retire the companies´ legacy Check-In software which is now fully functional in the port of Dover. During mid 2007 I was the sole developer in a successful Web Services project with the Home Office and IBM, sending customers´ passport details securely over the net via a web service using X509 Certificates and SSL. Using Parasofts CapeClear as the Service BUS I would write web services to hook up to T-SQL Stored Procedures. To maintain the Tourist and Freight website an internal facing web application was created, I used all of Web tier and Web services skills in addition DWR (AJAX).
