Led the project implementation team that scaled Telehealth Management Platform (TMP) across all 18 Veterans Integrated Services Networks (VISN) giving greater access to clinical care to Veterans across VHA. -Led the daily project operations of the six member implementation team that resulted in an 86% increase of total usage and one million VistA integrated Veteran appointments between September 2019 and December 2023.-Directly supported the National Telehealth Scheduling Lead, executive business leaders, and other VA stakeholders’ processes to develop and prioritize 121 epics, 135 New Feature user stories, as well as 496 bugs-issues-defects in line with OCC priorities. -Implemented Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) mandatory TMP scheduling across 18 VISNs and 4 Enterprise programs between April 2023 and October 2023 resulting each VISN successfully meeting the implementation timeline.Product Support Manager for the Office of Connected Care responsible to ensure OCC leadership and other stakeholders identify, understand, and respond to the changes in process between OCC processes and new electronic health record processes.- Strategic risk management with experience in identifying, evaluating and implementing risk mitigation within OCC and aligning the risk strategies with business objectives. -Collaborate across teams to ensure that help desk processes for OCC are accounted for in the implementation of the electronic health record across OCC applications and services.-Developed multiple user stories and new service requests to implement new OCC services across the newly deployed sites.-As an Agile project manage, daily use Jira and Confluence to document, prioritize, comment, track and complete user stories through the development life cycles.

As IEPO serving as Executive Officer for the IE Council I am responsible for collaborating with the IE Council to develop and maintain a facility IE program that is structured and managed according to the provisions of Integrated Ethics Handbook, published IE guidance, and IE materials. Collaborating with the IE Council and EL Coordinator to champion IE by, creating awareness and support for IE throughout the facility, ensuring that appropriate communication and education materials are available to all employees, including information about how to contact the IE program. Including ensuring discussion of ethics at appropriate venues such as town hall meetings, departmental staff meetings, hosting educational activities during National Ethics and Compliance Week, and developing ethics content for inclusion in standard facility communications, such as newsletters or facility e-mails.

Collaborating with staff, non-government organizations and the public to increase efficiency and improve outcomes for Veterans I have spearheaded community partnerships between ten local university and community colleges, four county Veterans Employment Committees, and hundreds of resource contacts in the San Joaquin Valley. These partnerships have led to greater than two hundred outreach efforts on college campuses and the community such as credit driven Veterans transition college course, monthly VA lunch & learns, Veterans benefits overview briefs, Veterans Stand Downs as well as enrollment and resource fairs. Seeing the need, I successfully recommended the creation of the Veterans Outreach Committee. During my tenure as chair, the outreach team’s efforts have completed more than 200 events, impacted 5,546 Veterans, 1,224 of which were Iraq and/or Afghanistan Veterans, 451 women Veterans and have enrolled 132 Veterans in the field.Achieving the goals of Strategy 8 of VA Blueprint of Excellence through innovative academic, intergovernmental and community relationships I drove a partnership between VA Central California and Fresno State for an 18-week semester long credit-driven Veterans transition class called University-8. Seeing the need, I influenced the decision by school administrators to include current progressive VHA approved stress management techniques such as MBSR, Tai Chi, Yoga. As lead instructor, I manage VA subject matter experts’ instruction such as Transition & Care Management, Suicide Prevention, Leadership and Student Mastery skills for the eleven enrolled Veteran Students.

Leading Telehealth Program deployment- Seven years’ project management experience implementing Telehealth hardware and software systems. During my tenure, achieved one hundred percent compliance in ensuring that all Telehealth related technology is appropriately managed, monitored for compliance and refreshed for sustainment in a comprehensive manner. Since 2011, our Connected Care team has led the Network in Virtual Care encounters and currently have achieved greater than twelve percent of all facility patients are touched by some form of Telehealth. As a Health Technician in the VA Fresno Emergency Department I was responsible in assisting in the emergency care of patients and performed a wide range of treatment procedures under the direction of the physicians and nurses.
