Managed a contract security employment program that provided jobs for over 31K Iraqi civilians and accounted for $113.3M worth of contracts in 2008; contributed to a 50%+ decrease in attacks in contracted areas. Planned and executed 2 progress report briefings on reconciliation initiatives to the Government of Iraq's national reconciliation committee, demonstrating transparency and cooperation while working in a foreign country. Wrote and maintained talking points and data that were briefed by the most senior executive officer in Iraq during the April 2008 and September 2008 US Congressional testimonies.-Adapted to a nonstandard role normally occupied by officers 2 grades senior, providing the same quality products while serving in a demanding deployment environment.-Awarded the Bronze Star Medal and recognition from the Division’s senior leader for dedication while performing duties in a position of unusually high responsibility.

Planned a combined training exercise across multiple disciplines, liaising with the aviation, intelligence, and medical components, effectively replicating a realistic combat environment. Updated and maintained the unit training schedule, forecasting long and short-term requirements and securing resources well ahead of schedule, maximizing training benefits.-Selected to serve as an operational planner during training exercises for a combat deployment, providing advice and expertise in a position usually occupied by more senior personnel.

Coordinated with the German Army to provide 100% safe, accurate, and timely firing of 24 rockets in support of a multinational live fire demonstration to US and German government dignitaries. Managed the company safety program, ensuring personnel understood safety requirements and policies; resulted in zero lost-time accidents.-Maintained a perfect rating on all inspections while in charge of arms, ammunition, & explosives security.-Responsible for the safe and accurate firing of 6 M270 rocket/missile launchers as Battery Fire Direction Officer.
