As the company's first OSH Professional, I corrected course bringing Engineered Restorations, Inc. into compliance and surpassing OSHA Standards in areas such as: Scaffolding, Fall Protection, Walking and Working Surfaces, Tool Guarding, and Respirable Crystalline Silica. In-depth knowledge in:-Respirable Crystalline Silica-Scaffolding-Rope Access-SPRAT-Fall Protection-Suspended Scaffolds-Mobile Elevating Work Platforms-Globally Harmonized System-Transportation SafetyI enacted many new programs, ensure training on all programs, set up a New-Hire Orientation Program, built a robust Fall Protection Program, built a Site Safety Audit, and completed Site Safety Audits on active job sites on a weekly basis. I also ensured I was available to the Owner, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Mechanics to be a resource for their safety. If there were Safety concerns or questions on a job site we would work through those concerns to ensure a safe work place through phone calls, text messages, video calls, or in-person job site walks to identify and correct concerns before work resumed.Aside from OSH Experience I also perform Fleet Management. Coordinating repairs and replacements of vehicles, safety programs related to vehicles, initiated a dashcam program, initiated a Company Vehicle Policy, and New Driver Vehicle Training.

As the first Safety Professional at ERI I am evaluating current Health and Safety programs in place to ensure we are up-to-date with OSHA standards. I will be revamping out of date practices and instituting new procedures, as well as restarting previous programs that got left behind. A good portion of my time will also be spent in the field acclimating myself with what ERI does, getting to know employees, doing safety checks, and working in the field while learning what ERI does and how they do it.

Working with driver's over the phone to correct any issues they are having out on the road, or to get them to the correct department to help them. We also cover for the Safety Department on nights and weekends and handle Injury/Illness Reports, Accidents, as well as numerous other Safety related activities.

I expanded upon my previous Internship with The Walsh Group. We had two projects we were responsible for overseeing. My duties expanded to include being the Safety personnel on-site at one project. I was responsible for most safety related tasks, being on-site to help with all safety related concerns, keeping up with inventory of safety equipment, overseeing some tasks to discern they were performed correctly, and helped create JHA for tasks performed on the project.

I worked alongside the Jacksonville Area Safety Specialist at three different road and bridge construction projects. We completed Job Site Analysis, Task Analysis, weekly safety and project reports, monthly safety reports to be presented at teleconference, and weekly safety talks.
