As the company's first OSH Professional, I corrected course bringing Engineered Restorations, Inc. into compliance and surpassing OSHA Standards in areas such as: Scaffolding, Fall Protection, Walking and Working Surfaces, Tool Guarding, and Respirable Crystalline Silica. In-depth knowledge in:-Respirable Crystalline Silica-Scaffolding-Rope Access-SPRAT-Fall Protection-Suspended Scaffolds-Mobile Elevating Work Platforms-Globally Harmonized System-Transportation SafetyI enacted many new programs, ensure training on all programs, set up a New-Hire Orientation Program, built a robust Fall Protection Program, built a Site Safety Audit, and completed Site Safety Audits on active job sites on a weekly basis. I also ensured I was available to the Owner, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Mechanics to be a resource for their safety. If there were Safety concerns or questions on a job site we would work through those concerns to ensure a safe work place through phone calls, text messages, video calls, or in-person job site walks to identify and correct concerns before work resumed.Aside from OSH Experience I also perform Fleet Management. Coordinating repairs and replacements of vehicles, safety programs related to vehicles, initiated a dashcam program, initiated a Company Vehicle Policy, and New Driver Vehicle Training.
