The technical role at Animeshon S.r.l., a technology start-up located in Northern Italy specialized in the field of Anime and Manga, included systems design and architecture, management and exposure of a graph knowledge base distributed across multiple services, Data analysis, transformation and management, scouting and implementation of experimental technologies.Together with the other Co-Founders of Animeshon we secured two public grants for research and development for a total of ~120.000€ as well as partnerships with the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, The Hochschule der Medien (University of Stuttgart), and the University of L’Aquila.Additionally, the role required a strong collaboration with European institutions such as the Europe Enterprise Network and the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation.Engineering responsibilities included:Cloud native distributed services architecture design and implementationDesign and development of performance-critical, high concurrently, Cloud and IAM compliant services.Data extraction and analysis from different sources (Databases, HTML pages, ...)Data transformation, consolidation and dispatch to service of competenceGraph Database managementFederated Graphql data-graph management using graphql-tools libraryDevelopment of Backoffices as well as public web applications using Vue/React - Apollo Stack

A Cloud Architect and DevOps at Technity S.r.l., an E-Commerce start-up in Northern Italy, I was responsible for the comprehensive design and implementation of a hybrid-event-driven architecture utilizing AWS services. This included the creation of a robust infrastructure where I selected all technologies and developed the necessary tools for other engineers to efficiently work on the new system. My role extended to leading the development of an event-driven microservice ETL system, facilitating seamless data integration into a data warehouse, and implementing a data warehouse system designed for bespoke Business Intelligence solutions. Additionally, I secured €100,000 in public grants for research and development. My responsibilities involved infrastructure design with Terraform, managing DevOps processes including continuous integration and deployment with Gitlab Pipeline, and designing microservices' asynchronous communication protocols.By the end of the project we successfully manage to develop and maintain a robust architecture featuring 10 stateful services, 10 Lambdas for event handling, an SQS-SNS event bus, CI/CD for a multitenant database using atlasgo.io, a real-time ingested Timescale data warehouse, and a custom reverse proxy for authentication and authorization.

Bolzano

Blockchain engineer hired to guide the Research and Development department of SIAG Informatik AG, a private company developing all solutions for the public administration of Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano. He worked together with Deutsche Bundesdruckerei exploring and prototyping the Blockchain technologies applications in the Public Administration’s process. In parallel he was assigned to department responsible for the digitalization of the public administration as full stack engineer (Angular-C#-Oracle DB). The project “myCivis”, founded by the european commission, got awarded in Milano for the place of “Premio Agenda Digitale” in 2018 for the extraordinary results.

Project Manager and Software Engineer of the gaming start-up “Regalia Entertainment S.R.L.S.” composed by 8 developers. C/C++ developer and Infrastructure Engineer for Debian, FreeBSD and Ubuntu systems. After lunch, the game achieved over 20.000 registered users and 1.500+ simultaneous players online only in Italy. The project was shut down due to the end of the license contract.
