Provide advocacy for students, faculty and staff which includes support to navigate through the judicial system, accompaniment to court, hospital, police departments, and referrals to appropriate agencies for counseling; Maintain an office which is supportive and confidential for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking; Develop and provide mandatory prevention education as mandated by Title IX and the Campus SaVE Act; Provide support and guidance, including policy revisions and implementation regarding Title IX and Campus SaVE for campus partners; Develop and facilitate training that is designed to aid in identifying and facilitating rapid, effective and survivor-focused response; Knowledge of interpretation and enforcement of University policies and procedures as they relate to the mission and purpose of the advocacy program; Develop and implement a multi-faceted highly complex set of programs and services that serve to heighten awareness of women's issues, sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking; Strategically plan and implement all phases of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) grant. Serve as a lead contact person in all matters related to the Violence Against Women Act Office; Counsel students on concerns related to issues of oppression, other personal issues, academic concerns, and career interests; Assist with campus housing, campus law enforcement and judicial affairs to review sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking protocols and/or revise policies as needed to ensure the safety and support of the students; VAWA Campus and Community Liaison; Supervise 7 student assistants, 1 professional staff and approximately 20 interns/volunteers; Oversee two project grants and program budget; Advise Men Against Violence, Hermanas Unidas and V-Team student groups; Mentor students who are working on school projects related to violence against women; Compile program reports, including reports to Department of Justice

Provided trainings on violence against women to Cal Poly Pomona students, staff, faculty and community partners; Developed and provided campus wide prevention programming and education to over 10,000 participants; Developed educational marketing materials; Advisor for Men Against Violence and The Education Against Abusive Relationships student groups; Developed curriculum for campus law enforcement training, peer-educator training and in-class presentations; Collaborated with off-campus partners (Victim-Witness Program, YWCA Wings, Forensic Nurse Specialists, Inc.) to provide training to campus community; Organized signature prevention programs such as Take Back the Night, the Vagina Monologues, Silent Witness Project and Men’s Violence Prevention Conference
