• Identified, selected, negotiated and conditioned 2 study clinical sites adhering to OSHA standards and GCP guidelines and qualified them for initiation and activation• Hired, trained, and supervised two examiners and five research assistants on multiple functions maintaining high retention among clinicians and administrative staff• Executed a Quality Management Assessment (pilot phase) suddenly requested by the sponsor by screening 80 individuals and dosing 50 subjects in 5 weeks, 15 weeks earlier than expected; allowing for an early start of the study and savings in resources• Screened 1,300 individuals; consented, randomized and dosed 596 subjects in 19 months, 2 months earlier ranking number one in recruitment among 4 participating centers• Achieved the highest retention rates among four participating centers ranging between 91.6% at 6 months and 85.5% at 30 months • Developed the trial protocol with a cross-functional team and created SOPs, CRFs, source documents and TMF; accurately controlling versions and submissions to multiple Internal Review Boards (IRB), sponsor and auditors • Assessed, followed-up and filed adverse event reports and streamlined communication among PIs, sponsor and auditors to resolve and close events accordingly• Designed and implemented protocols for onsite collection and shipping of 1,000 biological specimens to offsite laboratory for a 4-year period incurring in no errors• Organized five consecutive annual calibrations for clinical examiners to ensure inter-reliability attracting record number of participants which allowed for completion in 1-2 days reducing operational costs by 35%• Established relations with manufacturers of study drugs and managed procurement, handling, and delivery optimizing inventories and preventing contamination/expiration of drugs • Collaborated in the production of annual budgets, monitored costs, and coordinated between accounting departments from the sponsor organization and a subcontractor

• Coordinated study visits for participants and caregivers, and logistics with interdepartmental partners for various large scale phase 2 and 3 randomized clinical trials: Flurizan I & II (Myriad Genetics); Elan Pharmaceuticals (now Janssen Alzheimer’s Immunotherapy) phase 3 efficacy and safety trial of Bapineuzumab; and The ADAPT Study (Alzheimer’s Disease Anti-Inflammatory Prevention Trial; cutting wait time for subjects which resulted in increased satisfaction, retention rates and interest in participating in subsequent trials• Evaluated scheduling systems and medical and auxiliary staff resources availability optimizing the duration of visits and reducing deviations due to violation of windows of tolerance for completion of interventions

•Supported the recruitment of study participants at various events and organizations throughout Boston• Entered, cleaned and validated data for analysis for a cross-over clinical trial on the efficacy of acupuncture points in minimizing digestive side-effects in HIV positive individuals undergoing antiretroviral therapy

• Increased revenue by 25K per month by implementing a systematized claims system• Implemented a verification system for eligibility of services that improved the attendance rate in 20 percent
