I am an agronomic engineer with a passion for people and plants. My journey to this point was not direct, but my desire to work in the agronomic field never wavered. At age seven, I was enchanted by the work of an agronomic engineer woman working for my family, and I decided to become one so that my father “would not have to pay for this service anymore”. I studied agronomic engineering, but it took me almost 20 years to start working directly in the field. In the first part of my professional career, I worked as a patent translator and scientific consultant as a home-working mother of three. This allowed me to participate in my children's young lives the way I felt it was my personal way to do it. All the while I kept my deep interest in plants as a “professional hobby”, reading uncountable books, articles, and newsletters, attending conferences, and practising home gardening.In my 40s, I decided it was time to start the second half of my professional life. After an academic refreshment, which also allowed me to build a valuable network, I co-founded Generosa. Besides the priceless opportunity for my professional and personal growth, Generosa allows me to build a valuable product with the strong belief that it can help plants and people, the two things I admire most in life.
