For nearly a decade, Ross has served as an integral advisor and key contributor nationally in political, public and private sectors. At age 26, he founded his first company, M. Ross Williams & Co., a political consulting firm specializing in Campaign Finance and Management. Since its inception, the firm has raised more than $7.5 million for dozens of Federal, State and Local elected officials, candidates and causes. At 28, he expanded his business portfolio launching A.R. Williams Hospitality in 2021 with his sister, Ashlei Williams, also an entrepreneur. The siblings share a vision for diversifying the hospitality industry by expanding the footprint of Black-owned businesses. Inspired by his father’s career in hospitality, in April of 2022, the brother-sister duo entered the Food & Beverage sector with the acquisition of a D'bo's Daiquiris Wings & Seafood franchise (D'bo's Riverdale). The brand is the oldest buffalo wing concept in their hometown, Memphis. Through this acquisition, A.R. Williams Hospitality became the brand’s youngest franchisees. Ross is a 2015 alumnus of Morehouse College and a graduate of the New Leaders Council, UVA’s McIntire Business Institute, and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.
