Long-term collaboration with Professor Beau Breslin on two separate research projects: "Echoes of the Founding: Examining America’s Constitutional Birth" and "The Generational Constitution."• Explore the dominant narratives surrounding America’s constitutional founding, researching how these stories are told within our institutions of government and translated into our cultural memory.• Explore a debate between James Madison and Thomas Jefferson over the value of an enduring constitutional text.• Latter project involved imagining what constitutions throughout American history would have looked like if, per Thomas Jefferson's idea, each generation re-wrote the Constitution every nineteen years, and imagining a return to Philadelphia to draft a constitution for the twenty-first century.• Met principal goals of presenting our findings at the Northeast Political Science Association Annual Conference (November 2010).
