Field Supervisor
CurrentReporting directly to the Operations Center Manager. Manage the workflow of employees, creating team schedules and delegating tasks. Assess the work performance of employees and identify areas that need improvement. Also ensure that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met while setting goals for the technicians in compliance with the company’s mission and plan.• Builds and supervises a team of Damage Prevention Technicians who are driven and understand the business's key performance indicators and economic engines.• Promotes and maintains a strong safety culture for all employees.• Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure quality control is in place.• Conduct audits on field personnel to ensure quality standards are being met.• Conducts performance reviews and provides regular performance feedback and development opportunities for technicians• Create and maintain good working relationships with clients, excavators, regulators, employees, and the public• Assist Center Manager in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of Damage Prevention Technicians.• Assist Technicians with locating difficult-to-find utilities. • Collaborate with the HR and Talent Acquisition Team to identify staffing needs, interview, and make final hiring decisions.• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and maintain a professional appearance• Validates and approves daily personnel time reports • Develops, mentors and evaluates technicians and has the overall responsibility for employee engagement and morale.• Complete JSO’s (Job Safety Observations) of technicians
